I wasn’t born into politics.

I grew up facing homelessness, foster care, food insecurity, and bullying. I didn’t have a dad until I was eighteen years old. I learned what it meant to be a good person from comic books because I needed and craved someone to show me what heroes looked like.

Those experiences didn’t make me bitter—they taught me to stand up for people who are struggling.

Today I’m a construction worker, a non-profit leader and volunteer, a husband, a dad, and a lifelong humanitarian. I’ve spent years helping to build communities, not just buildings, and now I’m ready to bring that same commitment to the Utah Legislature.

The honeybee is the symbol of this campaign, not simply because of its association with this great state, but because…

Honeybees don’t seek attention. They build. They serve. They work together. Every bee strengthens the entire hive.

That’s the kind of representative I want to be.
